INTERNET: GOOD OR BAD?
In today’s world, the Internet has a common use among the people from all ages. They use it for different purposes:
teenagers write e-mails, use social networks, listen to music, watch different kinds of videos, learn a foreign
language, search information and chat online with their friends. Adults mostly use it to read newspapers, pay
the bills, or do online shopping. The Internet is like a perfect thing but is it really good? Many teachers say that
teenagers spend too much time on the Internet and they don’t do their homework on time. A research shows that
teenagers don’t take care of the Internet safety rules and it is sometimes dangerous. For example: some people
can be dangerous for the young people because teenagers share their personal information like their phone
number or address online. When they need to write a text message, teenagers don’t use some letters to write
shorter forms of the words and they think it is amusing but it is dangerous for their language. Teenagers should
know that the Internet is good when they follow the safety rules but if they become an Internet addict and don’t
follow the safety rules, it can be very dangerous.
